CDRE CRM Set-Up Guide
Ilumni assists you in setting up your CRM using the same platform we utilize.
Our first step is to confirm you have the necessary requirements for a smooth CRM setup process.
The most critical requirement is your business registration, which we must provide so the platform can verify your business.
This verification is known as 10DLC registration. It's mandatory to ensure your text messages are delivered reliably through the CRM.
We will handle the entire submission process for you.

Business Registration
Information We Need:
-
Tax ID:
Your U.S. Employer Identification Number (EIN).
-
Legal Business Name:
The full, legal name of your business.
-
Business Type:
Your entity type
(e.g., LLC, Corporation, Sole Proprietorship).
-
Registered Address:
The exact street address registered with the IRS/state.

Website Compliance
What We Need to Prepare:
-
Domain Page:
An active, functional website of your company.
-
Domain Email:
An email address linked to your domain
(e.g., name@yourcompany.com).
-
Business Phone Number:
Your official company number
(Primary Office Line).
-
Privacy Policy:
A dedicated sub-page on your website
(e.g., https://yourwebsite.com/privacy-policy).
Second, we require a company website and your business contact information.
The main importance of having an online website for the CRM setup is the mandatory "Privacy Policy" page. This page is required by the carriers behind the platform to ensure we are following opt-in messaging compliance.
Specifically, your business website must meet two requirements. Please confirm that your website administrator has implemented these changes:
-
Opt-in Language
The primary contact form must have explicit language clearly stating that the user consents to be contacted via call, email, and text. It must also include clear opt-out instructions (e.g., "Reply 'STOP' to opt-out").
-
Privacy Policy
Your website's privacy policy must state that you do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We can help set this up for you once your website is ready.
You can review a sample policy here:

Phone Number Strategy
If you are currently using a personal phone number for client contact, we strongly recommend you use this opportunity to establish a dedicated business line instead. The CRM can still be configured to forward business calls to your personal phone, while keeping your professional and private communications separate and ensuring compliance.
We need to know how you want to integrate your primary business phone number into the CRM. Do you want to Port Existing Number or use a New Company Number?
A. Need New Line
-
Action: The CRM will provision a new number for your business.
-
Your Choice: You will be able to select an available number to use as your Primary Office Line for all CRM text and call logging.
B. Port Existing Number
-
Our Strong Recommendation: Port this number into the CRM for optimal functionality.
-
Why Porting is Best: Porting ensures all calls and texts log automatically for accurate tracking and complete data within the CRM. If you keep the number outside the CRM, communication will not log.
-
Critical Porting Notice:
-
Porting a number out of its current carrier will automatically deactivate that carrier's service, even if you are under contract.
-
Action Required: You must confirm with your carrier that you intend to port out and ask them if they require a specific Porting PIN or account PIN that you must provide to us.
-
We will initiate the porting process once you provide the necessary PIN/confirmation.
